Allmänt
Fender's FSR American Standard Stratocaster (Dakota Red) is a variation on the beloved American Strat that sets itself apart by its channel-bound fretboard (among other things). Normally, the fretboard is glued onto the neck, but in this case it is set into a special slot in the neck. This doesn't just make this guitar look special, it also creates seamless sides that are naturally more comfortable for your left hand. What's more, the channel-bound principle creates a more powerful sound and increases durability. Another striking feature is the compound fretboard radius for smooth chords and solos. FSR American Standard Strat DKR: familiar features
The FSR American Standard Strat DKR is the archetypical Stratocaster as it features a durable build, three single-coil pickups, the famous graceful alder body and a vintage-style tremolo bridge. Fender opted to fit this electric guitar with Custom Shop Fat '50s pickups to bestow it with a sound that is characterised by the famous, clear twang. Yet these modern versions of the vintage pickups have enough body to produce a fat sound. Additionally, this guitar features Micro-Tilt to adjust the neck's angle, and the staggered tuners assure you of minimal resistance and a stable tuning. As is the custom with the American Standards, this guitar comes with a case, a cable, a guitar strap and a polishing cloth.
Guitars and bass guitars from the American Standard series
The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
