In order to protect your laser show, it might be a good idea to use an interlock such as this NOT-02. This interlock comes with a cable of approximately ten metres. With just one push of the red button, your laser show will be brought to a halt. You can only unlock the emergency stop mechanically. This interlock is very helpful when a scan set suddenly stops working and projects a static beam of light, or when a laser has been displaced and starts to work outside its safety zone.

Technology and connecting the NOT-02

The NOT-02 features an industrial emergency stop that is instantly triggered with a push of the red button.. The pull relief of the big cable gland makes sure your cable stays in place. The interlock features a DB9 connector that is also found on many professional lasers, and makes it possible to extend the cable by means of standard DB9 cables.
