The ESP LTD Elite J-4 STBLK is a bass guitar from the Elite series, a line of products that hovers between LTD and ESP instruments, ideal for (semi)professional players who only just don't need an ESP bass guitar. The Elite J-4 is notable for its classically shaped body and marvellous quilted-maple top with the same black-transparent finish that also adorns the elegant headstock. Moreover, this guitar has a natural maple fretboard and nickel hardware.

It goes without saying that an instrument like the LTD Elite J4 STBLK is blessed with an exceptional sound. Its high-quality ash body makes sure its heard with a warm, rounded resonance. Two excellent Seymour Duncan pickups accurately transfer these tones and preserve not just the richness of the original sound, but also its clarity and definition. Lastly, this professional bass guitar features Gotoh tuners and bridge, as well as a 2-band EQ for accurately fine-tuning your sound.

Made in Japan by ESP's guitar builders

It is a dream of many guitarists to own a high-end ESP guitar some day. However, these highly professional instruments are very costly indeed, which is why ESP started their daughter company LTD. LTD produce budget versions of the same guitars and bass guitars.
