Construction of the EC Frazetta

Beneath the amazing picture hides a mahogany body, serving as a support for the - also mahogany - neck. It's the mahogany that gives this guitar's sound so much body. However, you can make the Frazetta sound brighter with a little help from the active pickups. A tight bass and fresh trebles. The fretboard of this instrument is made of rosewood and allows for exceptionally fast playing.

The active electronics of the EC Frazetta

Naturally, an electric guitar wouldn't be of much use without its pickups. LTD fitted this guitar with active pickups that draw their power from a 9-volt battery, making them better at picking up the sound of your strings as well as producing higher output and a clearer signal. You can adjust the volume of each pickup when you blend them together, creating your very own sound as you edit its timbre with the tone control.
