Allmänt
This unique electric guitar might look like a vintage instrument, its sound is anything but old fashioned! The Charvel Specific Ocean is perfect for the rough stuff. Two properly rugged Seymour Duncan pickups make that it is right at home surrounded by big, heavy amplifiers. Rugged rhythmic patterns are no problem at all for this guitar, and it's not afraid of a tight solo either! Its two humbuckers were specially designed for a maximum output, allowing your amplifier to start clipping early on. The result? An exceptional distortion.
Charvel PM SD1 HH FR Specific Ocean: a body with soul
Despite its rugged nature, this guitar isn't short on character as its body is made of alder, a wood type with excellent tonal properties and great sustain. The entire frequency spectrum is evenly distributed. However, the sound of this guitar wasn't the only thing that received a lot of attention - its maple neck and fretboard allow for immense playing comfort along their entire length!
Electronics and hardware
For contrast, the hardware of this guitar is all black. The pale neck and black tuners look remarkably stunning. Electronics-wise, this guitar features as little as possible for minimal static. You can select the pickups via a 3-way switch. Both pickups are active in the middle position. Additionally, a volume knob allows for subtle tonal variations and of course volume control. A marvellous guitar at a great price!
