Features of the Charvel Desolation DS-3 ST black

The Desolation DS-3 ST has a solid mahogany body with a marvellous arched top. Its deep cutaway makes it easy to play solos up to the 24th fret. The neck is also made of mahogany and features a 12-inch radius rosewood fretboard. The back of the neck has no lacquer on it to ensure optimal playing comfort for even the sweatiest hands. The DS-3ST is equipped with black/nickel hardware that includes an adjustable tunomatic bridge and a stop tail.

Powerful humbuckers

The Charvel Desolation DS-3 ST comes ready armed with two powerful passive humbucker pickups that produce a high output, making them excellently suited for rougher distortion. However, if you fiddle with the volume and tone controls, this guitar supplies you with sultry jazz tones or bluesy cleans. The three-position pickup switch allows you to choose between the full sound of the neck pickup, the bite of the bridge pickup, or a combination of both.
