The Arturia MiniBrute SE - a special edition of the MiniBrute - is a 100% analogue synthesizer. The original synth's looks have been upgraded: the MiniBrute SE has a gorgeous silver-coloured housing with wooden side panels. Equally attractive is the new sequencer section, which has taken the place of the arpeggiator. The sequencer is remarkably comprehensive - not only are you able to create 6 sequences of up to 64 steps each, you can also adjust the swing and gate settings in real-time and choose from several playback modes. Rest assured, the MiniBrute SE will keep you happily experimenting.

MiniBrute SE: classic sounds

The monophonic MiniBrute SE has all the connectors you need and delivers that good old-fashioned, typically warm analogue sound for a very reasonable price. Create inspiring classic basses, drones, leads, pads and effect, using sine, triangle, sawtooth and square waveforms - all of which you can tweak elaborately with the pitch, filter, amplifier, multimode filter and Brute Factor options of the MiniBrute SE. The latter produces a truly hefty sound by adding a distortion that ranges from mild to virtually uncontrollable.

Analogue to the core

The MiniBrute is an analogue synthesizer, down to its very core. It won’t have anything to do with digital presets and endless sub menus - everything is controlled by means of accessible, physical buttons, knobs and sliders. It makes adjusting your settings so much faster, and it also does wonders for your own creativity. There’s no need to worry about saving your presets either: simply place one of the included preset sheets over the control panel. You can either follow the instructions on one of the ready-made preset sheets, or mark a blank sheet if you want to be able to recreate a preset of your own invention.
