Apple made some improvements to the iPad mini Retina to bring you the iPad mini 3. Where looks and dimensions are concerned, it's the same as its predecessor, but there are a number of new features under the bonnet. Thanks to the new iOS, the A7 processor runs better than ever. There are also a number of new photo and video possibilities, such as panorama photos and 120 fps slow-motion videos. The most unique new feature is the Touch ID, which allows you to lock and unlock your iPad with your fingerprint. You can also use it for making secure purchases in iTunes and the eBook store. Moreover, because this is the cellular version, you can access the internet just about anywhere thanks to the 4G module.

A number of new and improved apps also come with the device, from email and internet, to video chat and navigation, to an iBook reader and a calendar. Of course, there are also countless other free apps that you can download from the App Store.
