Apple are known for optimising their products to the last detail. The successor of the fourth generation iPad, called the Apple iPad Air, is no different! Instantly noticeable is that the screen has retained its size, but the casing has become narrower and thinner. The iPad Air - what's in a name - weighs less than 500 gram and clearly focuses on the retina display. Despite the slimmer design and the faster A7 processor, the battery life is still 10 hours.

The intuitive and fast iPad Air Wi-Fi
This version of the iPad Air has a black front and space-grey back and it has 32 GB of storage space. Its wireless network functionality is very stable and fast thanks to two internal Wi-Fi antennas, instead of one. The iOS 7 operating system, which is perfectly attuned to 64-bit performances of the A7 chip, works more intuitively than ever. Furthermore, the iPad Air is equipped with an HD camera with improved sensor and a double microphone for improved audio during video calls, for instance.

A7 processor: desktop speed
Every time Apple releases a new model, the processor speed of the previous model is surpassed. The A6X chip of the iPad 4 was fast, but this iPad Air is equipped with the advanced 64-bit A7 chip with its M7 motion processor. The A7 performs twice as well as its predecessor, without using any additional energy. Intensive use and heavy apps are no problem for this Apple.
