Allmänt

A USB mic is always handy, but doesn't usually offer the mobility that you might need! However, the Samson Stage X1U is a wireless model with a range of 30 metres. Just plug the USB receiver into your PC, Mac, iPad (see tips) or Samson Expedition set with USB Wireless port, pop two AA batteries into the HXD1 handheld transmitter and you're good to go! The receiver is quickly recognised by your computer and can subsequently be used as a recording device in your audio software. This is a great choice for YouTube recordings and video chat programs.

Stage X1U: power supply, internal shockmount and stand

If you pop two new or newly charged AA batteries into the transmitter of the Stage X1U, it will enjoy a battery life of 8 hours. The RX1 receiver is powered by your computer and allows for a natural sound with a great deal of detail. To reduce handling noise, the Q6 mic capsule was fitted with an internal shockmount. A microphone clip and desk stand are included, so that you can easily use the mic in a hands-free capacity, or safely put it to one side.

Erg fijne microfoon. Ik gebruik hem voor Skype, potcasts, vlogs en presentaties om rechtstreeks mijn stem te versterken. Mensen hebben mijn stem nog nooit zo goed en helder gehoord door de speakers sinds ik deze microfoon heb. Je stem wordt natuurgetrouw erdoor opgenomen. Hij is lekker mobiel, ligt goed in de hand, heeft een goed gewicht en is makkelijk te installeren. Het enige nadeel is dat hij je stem het beste registreert als je hem vlak bij en recht voor je mond houdt, eigenlijk zoals zangers altijd doen. Dat is op zich niet heel erg, wat het voordeel is dat er zo geen omgevingsgeluid bij komt, wat de kwaliteit van je stem weer vergroot. Maar je moet er wel even aan wennen.
