The Neat Widget A USB microphone can accommodate a wide variety of applications. Do you singing and/or play an instrument? Want to create voice-overs for your vlog or make video calls using Skype or Facetime? All of this and more is possible with the Widget A, which records directly onto your computer. This is one of three mics in the Neat Widget series, which boasts a unique appearance and contains the same capsule and circuitry as the other two for an equally remarkable audio performance.

The Neat Widget A: all in one

This modern, colourful mic is not only distinctive, it's functional as well. It's mounted on its own stand and is adjustable in height. The Widget A features an integrated shock mount and pop filter, which means you get a great recording without having to purchase these crucial accessories separately! You don't even need to download any drivers or software—simply plug the mic cable into the USB port on your computer and you're good to go.

All-round sound

Not only is the Widget A extremely easy to use, it also offers great audio quality. Neat has provided it with a cardioid pickup pattern, which means it will capture audio from the front and very little background noise, ensuring a recording that's as clear as possible. The Widget A has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, a sample rate of 96 kHz, and a bit rate of 24 bits.

NEAT Widget A USB mikrofon

Gebruik de Widget A al een paar jaar en tot zover ben ik er tevreden mee. Het is zeker geen normale mic met zijn vorm maar het geluid is goed en staat ook luik bij mijn setup. De ingebouwde popkap en anti tril surface zijn ook welkom. All-in-all een leuke mic die ik zeker niet zal vervangen voor de komende tijd.

NEAT Widget A USB mikrofon

Ik heb deze Neat Widget A microfoon gekocht en ben er goed tevreden over. Ik heb on andere gekeken naar de frequentie en die heeft een bereik van 20 Hz tot 20 kHz en als één van de weinige in zijn klasse een bitdiepte van 24 bits, wat mijn inziens een beter geluid weergeeft. Het is een vrij groot apparaat maar is wel mooi qua uitvoering. Dat er een ingebouwde plopkap en schokopvanger inzit is ook wel prettig, waardoor je niet het scherpe in je stem hoort. Het is wel jammer dat er geen enkele geluidsafstelling mogelijk is op het apparaat, maar dat is extern goed te regelen. Ik heb dezelfde microfoon elders al een stuk duurder gezien, dus behalve goede kwaliteit, is deze microfoon ook nog eens niet duur! Enige opmerking heb ik dat ik het klikken van mijn muis, op mijn hoofdtelefoon wel hoor als ik microfoon aan en uit schakel, of aan het zoeken ben in mijn muziekprogramma. Maar goed, dat neemt niet weg dat de kwaliteit uitstekend is.
