The SKB 3i-2213-12B-C is part of the 3i Series of injection-moulded waterproof cases and is designed to provide robust protection for sensitive equipment during transport and storage. The case is made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasketed seal, making it both watertight and airtight. Furthermore, it is submersible to IP67 standard and therefore suitable for harsh conditions. The case is black in colour and has a hard outer shell that is resistant to corrosion and impact damage.

Locking, venting and military-grade features

For everyday use, the case is fitted with a moulded-in hinge and the well-known Trigger Latch® System, ensuring quick and reliable closure. The snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle feels comfortable in the hand and folds away neatly. Another clever feature: the automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve helps to compensate for pressure differences and complies with MIL-STD-648C. Combined with its robust construction and resistance to corrosion and impact damage, this is a case you can take with confidence to locations where conditions are less than ideal.

Space, stacking and easy handling

With internal dimensions of 559 x 330 x 299 mm, there’s plenty of space for a wide range of applications, from AV gear to measuring or camera equipment. The interior base depth is 251 mm, allowing you to store taller items with ease. The case is designed for secure stacking, so you can stack multiple cases stably on top of one another in a van, warehouse or flight case environment. Thanks to the built-in pull handle and wheels, it remains easy to transport, even when the contents are on the heavier side.
