From Flight's Royal Series comes the Mustang: an electro-acoustic tenor ukulele with an all-solid construction. Flight have chosen to craft the instrument using acacia for its authentic sound characteristics, and have even gone as far as carving the fretboard out of this exclusive tone wood for a highly luxurious look and feel. A subtle cutaway in the body allows for ample access to all of the frets without losing out on volume and tone thanks to the beautifully designed soundhole on the side of the body.

Royal Series Mustang: Intelligent Workhorse

Another striking design feature is the string-through bridge. This not only makes replacing the strings easy as pie, it also adds to the excellent resonant qualities of the Mustang. An Artec PP40U passive piezo doubles as a strap button and takes care of the amplified sound and, compared to models with a traditional preamp with EQ, allows for a better balance and lighter weight, especially in combination with the special headstock design.
