Allmänt

The Ohana CK-50GS is an excellent concert ukulele with a body made of solid wood. It features a luxurious finish and a rich tone with plenty of projection. The top is made of cedar, which is known to produce a warm tone. This concert uke is slightly larger than the standard soprano ukulele, which also means it has a slightly louder, fuller sound. The pitch is the same though, and you can set it to the common G-C-E-A tuning.

CK-50GS: rosewood and embellishment

The powerful, warm sound of the cedar wood top is supported by the dark-brown, deep-sounding rosewood sides and back. For optimal sound transmission to the body, this uke is equipped with a bone string nut and saddle. The whole thing is finished with a layer of high-gloss lacquer and embellished with pearloid details around the sound hole and along the body. The binding and veneer layer on the head are made of mahogany.

Ohana CK-50GS concert ukulele

Beautiful Ukulele with Cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides fitted with Grover tuners. Ohana are probably the best mid price ukulele maker out there, my partner and I have bought several over the past few years and the quality, tone and appearance have consistently been excellent. Bax provided this instrument at the best price I could find and it arrived promptly here in the UK 3 days after ordering from the Netherlands - very good packaging BTW.
