This is a surprising ukulele by Fender. This Ukulele '52 was designed to look like Fender's first electric guitar: the Telecaster. For instance, the headstock and body of this concert ukulele bear a striking resemblance to those of the Tele model. This beautiful ukulele is electro-acoustic, thanks to the Fishman KULA preamp system it is remarkably easy to use it for studio recording or to plug it into a PA system for live performances.
Ukulele '52: characteristics
The natural lacquered body is made of spruce (for the top) and mahogany (for the sides and back). Its three-part neck is also made of mahogany and features a rosewood fretboard with 19 frets. The headstock sports a gold-coloured Fender logo. The body and neck have beautiful Aged White bindings. This uku is equipped with a chromatic tuner, a volume control and a triple equalizer. This attractively priced Fender has a marvellous finish and is excellently suited to create the sound of the South Seas.

Supergaaf ding. Mooi afgewerkt, prima geluidskwaliteit. Ik heb hem voor de looks gekocht, maar het is echt een goede ukelele. Versterkt klinkt hij ook super en je kunt er zelfs mee scheuren, ook al is hij er niet voor bedoeld (zie video's). Aanrader.
