The Rhythm Mate in Wine Red is a compact kit, and consists of a 22-inch bass drum, 14-inch snare drum, 10 and 12-inch toms and a 16-inch floor tom. Tama makes sturdy drum kits, and the included hardware is just as heavy-duty as the drums. The double-braced stands for your hi-hat, cymbals and snare drum provide the necessary stability. While the new Omnisphere tom holders will keep your toms firmly in place, the Accu-Tune hoops make tuning your drumheads a real breeze. The kit's deep and rich sound comes from its poplar shells, that have a sturdy, Wine Red finish.
Rhythm Mate
Rhythm Mate drum sets are very popular amongst both beginners and advanced players. Besides adding hardware and cymbals, Tama has made a few other nice additions to this Wine Red Rhythm Mate kit. The bass drum, for instance, is fitted with new legs and a ring muffler. The new legs make sure your bass drum stays firmly in place and are easy to adjust, while the ring muffler helps you obtain a controlled sound. Earlier versions of the Rhythm Mate came with a 13-inch snare drum and a 14-inch floor tom, but Tama has revised those dimensions and now ships the Rhythm Mate with a 14-inch snare and a 16-inch floor tom. With this sharply priced drum set, beginning drummers will be ready to embark on their musical journey!
