The Ludwig LSS030XTK Signet 105 GigaBeat in Indian is a shell set from Ludwig's remarkable Signet 105 series, which was introduced to celebrate the famous manufacturer's 105th anniversary. Shell sets from this series consist of either 3 of 4 drum shells, and leave the final stages of assembly to you. As such, their price is much lower than you'd expect from such a professional-sounding set of drums. What's more, Ludwig managed to keep all the shell hardware surprisingly lightweight, meaning the kit is relatively easy to transport to and from gigs and rehearsals.

LSS030XTK 3-piece drum kit

The LSS030XTK is what Ludwig call a Signet GigaBeat kit, which means it consists of a 20" bass drum, 14" floor tom and 12" tom. Of course, all the necessary brackets, legs tension rods and other mounting materials are included. In under 30 minutes, you can snap the lugs in place, attach the Triad brackets for the floor tom legs and tom holders, and mount the hoops and drumheads to the shells using the tension rods. Child's play! Even better: as a reward, you now have a gorgeous, lightweight drum kit that offers a fantastic sound and features a gorgeous satin Indian Teak finish!

The Signet 105 series' sound

Signet 105 drums largely owe their beautifully warm sound to the fact that their shells - made in Ludwig's US facility - are entirely made of North American maple. Besides that, they come with high-quality Ludwig Weathermaster drumheads and special Triad mounts that don't impede the wood's natural resonance. Even the lugs are remarkable in their simplicity. There's no need for fiddling about with countless little screws: simply snap them into the pre-drilled lug mounts and fasten them to the hoops using the included tension rods!
