Together with Frits Damrow, Yamaha has developed the MP TR Damrow S mouthpiece. It produces a full, resonating sound and is made specifically for orchestra players.

The Signature series

This philosophy went into the Signature series, which is comprised of special brass instrument mouthpieces that are named after the collaborative musician, and feature the characteristics most important to that musician's playing.

Frits Damrow

The Dutch trumpet player Frits Damrow has played with the Radio Symphony Orchestra and the world famous Royal Concert Hall Orchestra, as well as other various chamber ensembles. As a teacher and soloist, Damrow has contributed to dozens of musical training establishments and orchestras world-wide.
