Allmänt

Anything they can do, the Yamaha MP TR 18C4 can do better. Or at least louder, because this is the largest trumpet mouthpiece from the GP series, and as such it produces enormous volume. That's why it's highly recommended for orchestra players who want to stand out above the rest.

The GP series

The musicality of your playing and instrument is highly influenced by the quality of your mouthpiece. It's logical then, that both you and your instrument will benefit from a good quality, high level mouthpiece. Different mouthpieces work (or don't work) for different musicians though, and that's why Yamaha produces more than a hundred distinct mouthpieces divided into different series, of which the GP (Gold Plated) series is one. GP series mouthpieces are intended for experienced musicians who won't settle for anything but the best. These mouthpieces have an innovative design, and the extra-heavy gold-plated layer focuses and concentrates your sound.
