Pearl P-1000CX Elimin8R Single Bass Drum Pedal

Allmänt

With the Pearl P-1000CX Elimin8R, you’re getting a single bass drum pedal that combines speed, power and adjustability. Pearl has built this pedal on the basis of eight key performance features from its well-known Eliminator pedals. The result is a comprehensive pedal that lets you tailor your bass drum playing to your own style, without needing a top-tier budget. The dual chain drive, together with the sturdy frame and solid base plate, provides a stable foundation for powerful footwork. Whether you’re playing subtle accents or really going for it: the Elimin8R offers plenty of options to tailor the response to your playing style. Handy for the drummer who performs regularly!

Choose the response that suits you

How a bass drum pedal feels is a personal preference. That’s why the Elimin8R features an interchangeable cam system with two options: the Progressive cam for an accelerating response and the round Linear Action cam for a consistent feel. With the PowerShifter function, you can also move the footplate forwards or backwards. The three positions alter the leverage, giving you a light, normal or powerful playing feel. The angle of the beater is also infinitely adjustable. Once you’ve found your preferred spring tension, the Click-Lock adjustment locks in that setting and prevents the tension from shifting whilst you’re playing. This allows you to fine-tune different aspects of the pedal’s response to work in harmony with one another.

Practical details for comfortable footwork

The redesigned footplate has a smooth surface with a brushed chrome finish, allowing your foot to move easily forwards and backwards. On the other side of the pedal, you’ll find the Control Core DuoBeater. This beater features a hard plastic striking surface and a felt striking surface, allowing you to choose between two different playing characteristics. The elastomer core helps to dampen vibrations. You can attach the pedal to the rim of your bass drum using the side-access clamp. The solid base plate ensures stability; for extra grip, you can optionally attach Velcro to the underside. This is useful for intensive footwork.
