Allmänt
Any musician is familiar with the frustrations and limitations associated with cables, but it many wireless systems seem too complicated to make the switch. That's why StageClix have come up with the stageClix Jack set consisting of a wireless receiver and a transmitter. The compact transmitter goes in your instrument and the receiver can be mounted on your pedal board or set on your amp, depending on your setup. Supply the receiver with power using the included 9-volt adapter and plug it into the first effects pedal in your chain, or directly into your amp. Simply turn everything on and you're ready to rock!
stageClix Jack: handy set
The transmitter with lithium battery is so compact, it doesn't even have a housing; it's just a big plug. When it needs recharging, simply plug it into the receiver. The transmitter can last up to 6 hours on a fully-charged battery. StageClix functions at 5.8 GHz, a frequency that is known to be relatively noise-free. During transmission, it uses three frequencies within 1 channel in order to eliminate signal loss. This set is compatible with any type of guitar, including basses and electro-acoustic guitars, as long as it has a jack output. Your days of struggling with cables are officially over with the stageClix Jack!

Misschien minder interferentie van andere apparatan vanwege de 5Ghz band (had ik ook weinig met 2,4ghz), maar in ieder geval kan de afstand niet zo groot worden. Spelen door een dubbelglazen deur/pui, dan wordt het al snel heel moeilijk. Op het podium zeker met line-of-sight geen enkel probleem.
Een nadeel in het gebruik vind ik dat de dongle niet los is op te laden (bijv. met een micro-usb aansluiting). Je bent nu verplicht de hele ontvanger uit te pakken en in je stopcontact te hangen.
Pluspunten:
+ storingsvrij bij actieve mic's
+ degelijk materiaal (veel metaal, dongle is dik plastic)
+ accuduur is prima
Minpunten:
- dongle moet perse opladen in ontvangstation
- 5ghz is niet geschikt voor grote afstanden of glas/metaal in de weg
- ontvangstation is behoorlijk groot in vergelijk met andere systemen
