Sennheiser's XSW-D Portable Lavalier Set is a wireless system for camera microphones that couldn't be any easier to use. It consists of a transmitter, a receiver, an ME2-II lavalier mic, cables and various mounting accessories. Simply connect the transmitter to the ME2-II lavalier microphone, mount the receiver on your DSLR camera using the cold shoe mount provided and then connect the receiver to the mic input on your camera using the included cable. The system works on the 2.4 GHz frequency band which means it can be used anywhere in the world without a permit.

Features of the XSW-D Series

Channel management is fully automatic, so you won't have to do a thing with this. Every XSW-D set can easily be put on mute too, from both the transmitter and the receiver. If you want to pair the transmitter with another receiver, that can be done with the simple press of a button. A fully charged set will last up to 5 hours, but if that's not enough, the transmitter and receiver can be charged while they're being used, even with a power bank. In the event of interference, the XSW-D set will automatically transfer itself to another channel. Lastly, thanks to the aptX protocol, you'll enjoy uncompromising, digital sound quality without any noticeable latency.
