Allmänt
At larger venues, it is always practical to be able to use several microphone systems at once. Thanks to the XD-V55 series by Line 6, this is no problem. This XD-V55L set consists of a body pack, a receiver and a lavalier microphone - ideal for presentations and insensitive to interference as it sends its signal over the 2.4GHz frequency. Other devices cannot influence the signal thanks to its encryption. The XD-V55 system can handle operating with up to 12 devices simultaneously, making it perfect for larger settings.
Transmitter and receiver of the XD-V55 system
As the transmitter and receiver communicate digitally, more than just the microphone's signal can be sent. The battery status of a body pack is also legible on the receiver, for instance. This way, a sound technician is in full command over a performance, right from his work station. What's more, both the transmitter and the receiver have an elaborate LCD display that shows you all you need to know in terms of signal strength, receiver volume, channel settings and transmitter microphone model.
Lavalier microphone
The lavalier microphone of this system is a condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern, meaning it is a fairly sensitive mic and that it even picks up sounds from a distance - making it the perfect microphone to incorporate into clothing. Thanks to the standard T4A mini XLR connector on the body pack, other microphones can also be used with this system.
