The Krome features hundreds of studio-grade sounds, ranging from synth basses to strings. The most remarkable sounds, however, are the extremely realistic grand pianos and ultra-dynamic electric pianos, which have been borrowed from the Korg Kronos series. The Krome offers 4 GB of memory, which means each of its 61 keys triggers natural-sounding, full-length samples. There is also a selection of essential vintage effects for you to choose from, including phaser and tremolo, and the Korg Krome features a realistic rhythm section with more than 600 drum tracks and patterns as well. A single push of a button triggers professional drums that are automatically adjusted to the sound you're working with at that particular moment.

Versatile and intuitive touch screen interface

The Krome 61-key workstation really comes into its own when you use it on stage. Its clearly illuminated buttons and live performance controls offer you everything you need for quick sound adjustments during intense live shows. The heart of the Krome is a redesigned 7-inch widescreen Touchview colour display, which allows you to activate sounds and functions by touch, to drag them and to swype.
