With the SU22-L-AB-M, Meinl delivers a hefty 22-inch surdo including legs. Thanks to the included legs, you can place the surdo in a stable position and you won't strain your back. The deep and full sound of this surdo can be heard in samba music. The surdo is also called the heartbeat of music and can be played with wooden beaters. Meinl has made the shell out of no less than 6 layers of hardwood, which ensures a warm sound. This surdo has a playing height of 24 inches and features a matt brown finish.

The batter has been given a black finish and is made of synthetic material. All tension bolts are countersunk so they do not bother you while playing. Optionally, you can integrate the surdo into your drum set-up as an extra deep floortom or bass drum. A versatile instrument with a warm and deep sound.
