The sound of the SU18-L-AB-M surdo reminds you of samba music. This music is characterised by flashy rhythms but certainly also by the deep sound of the surdo. Meinl supplies an 18-inch surdo that is excellent for giving the beat. Deep and full of sound which provides a rousing tempo. The SU18-L-AB-M comes with legs, which provides extra playing comfort. The shell is made of 6 layers of high-quality hardwood, making it extra durable. A shell depth of 22 inches ensures a full deep sound.

Besides a traditional application, you can also use this surdo as an additional floortom to your own drum kit. Thanks to the legs, you can set up the SU18-L-AB-M anywhere. This allows you to add a deep sound to your set-up. All tension bolts are fully countersunk and the shell hardware has been given a chrome finish. The percussion head is made of synthetic material which makes this surdo extra durable. A surdo with various playing possibilities, excellent for the enthusiastic percussionist.
