The Proel Eikon 8 is an active bi-amped studio monitor with a combined capacity of 90 watts. It features a 1-inch softdome tweeter and an 8-inch woofer, as well as optimised electronics consisting of a built-in crossover and discrete limiter circuitry for the low and high tones. That means this monitor is suitable for virtually any application, especially thanks to the 8-inch woofer which provides plenty of bass. This monitor is great for use in mobile and home studios, home theatres, multimedia installations, or for broadcasting or post-production purposes in combination with your computer.

The Class-AB amplifiers in this monitor ensure that the woofer and tweeter are controlled separately, driven by an active crossover. As not all rooms have the same acoustic properties due to different reflections, the high tones can sometimes sound out of balance. For that reason, Proel Eikon equipped this monitor with a volume control for the tweeter, which is located on the rear. There, you'll also find jack, RCA and XLR inputs. Thanks to a frequency range of 45 Hz to 20 kHz and an SPL of 109 dB, all the details in your music will come through loud and clear. This studio monitor is 38 x 26.5 x 30.5 cm and weighs 10 kg.
