The Focal CMS series contains the most compact range of monitors on the market for professional users. It's a monitor that provides excellent, transparent audio quality, while taking up a minimal amount of room. The CMS-40 is perfect for small-scale high-end studios where space is limited.

The integrated bi-amp system in the CMS-40 active monitor is designed to make optimal use of the internal amplifiers. Incoming frequencies are filtered through to the corresponding amp module, which then only has to deal with the frequency range it's specifically made for. With a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 97 dB, this monitor is capable of producing an impressive sound in a small space. Its 4-inch woofer and dome tweeter deliver a frequency range of 60 to 28,000 Hz, which is ideal as a reference for a Hi-Fi set without a subwoofer.
