Allmänt

The Shure PGA181 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone that's been specifically designed for use on stage. During live performance situations, you can encounter a variety of instruments that are a little tricky to amplify with a regular microphone. Luckily, the PGA181 was designed to help you with these kinds of instruments. Think about amplifying a harp or a double bass, for instance. These are instruments that require a specialised approach, and this mic is perfect for that.

Shure PGA 181: stage-worty

Condenser microphones can be quite fragile, so Shure did everything in its power to ensure the PGA181 is fit for use on stage. For instance, its capsule is placed securely in an internal shock mount so that it won't break as easily. Furthermore, the shock mount also helps prevent contact noise from polluting your signal. In short, this is the ideal microphone for amplifying those tricky-to-mike instruments.
