With the arrival of LED pars, the traditional T4 dimmer bar has disappeared from most mobile DJ shows and that's really a shame as it can save you a lot of time building up and connect LEDs. This is why Showtec have developed the Booster Bar 4, a special DMX distribution bar to which you can easily connect LED pars and other armatures that operate on a fixed voltage and are DMX-controllable.

Setup of the Booster Bar 4 DMX

The Booster Bar 4 DMX is simple but practical in its construction. It starts with a professional Neutrik PowerCON input and output, as well as 3-pin XLR inputs and outputs for the general DMX signal of your DMX circle. Per output (4 in total), a 230V chassis and two DMX outputs are provided, specifically a 3-pin and 5-pin XLR. This means that large as well as small LED armatures can be easily connected. The built-in suspension points for your armatures make mounting easy. In order to mount the bar yourself, you can use the built-in eye bolts, or you can use the fixed points to mount G-hooks or half couplers.
