Interchangeable capsules for flexibility

Both mics in this BT201/1s set have interchangeable capsules, which means you can switch the directional characteristic between omnidirectional, cardioid, open cardioid, or open cardioid with -20 dBs of attenuation for lower signals. Normally, there would be a switch on the microphone to do this, but with the BT201/1s, you can simply switch capsules without sacrificing any low or high frequencies. What's more, the patented Golden Drop Capsule which is found in all JZ microphones, ensures an ultra-fast response.

All JZ Microphones are made with class A electronics and components that are crafted and tested by hand, resulting in a pure audio signal before it even reaches your recording equipment. On top of that, electronics that are soldered by hand are resistant to overheating. At this time, JZ's Vintage series microphones do not have tubes. The internal circuitry is designed to function perfectly without them but able to emulate the characteristic sound of a tube mic.
