This 73-note Continental keyboard is inspired by the VOX Continentals of the sixties, and is now equipped with the perks of modern technology. It generates penetrating organ sounds as well as outstanding acoustic and electric piano samples. It's the largest in the Continental series and comes complete with a volume/expression pedal.

VOX Continental 73

The Continentel is designed for professional keyboardists and features an intuitive user interface without complicated menu structures. It has a vintage look with modern technology under the bonnet such as built-in compression, EQ and split/layer functionality. Adjust the velocity sensitivity with great accuracy and save your favourite settings internally or on a USB stick. This makes it easy to create sets without having to search for the right settings.

Sounds

The samples in the Continental are simply top-notch. VOX have placed the emphasis on organ, piano and electric piano sounds, but it also offers brass, strings, lead and synth sounds. A unique effect is the Nutube vacuum tube that adds an analogue drive edge to your sound. There are countless effectes available so you can fine-tune your sounds to perfection. The Continental is particularly ideal for jazz, pop and rock genres.

TOP product! Super coole vintage look maar ook de vele sounds en functies doen het helemaal. Toetsen voelen goed, onderstel makkelijk verstelbaar, klank van zowel de piano's als organs en de verschillende combo's maken dit een uniek stuk. Nu nog een bijpassende vintage keyboard amp (van Vox...) en het is compleet!

Hedendaagse technologie in pure vintage look maakt dit dus mijn eerste keus.

Skrev följande om VOX Continental 73 med expressionspedal

Ik was op zoek naar een Hammond SK, omdat er ook pianogeluiden en een Vox Continental orgel in zaten. Echter was niet aanslaggevoelig.
Totdat ik een Vox Continental tegenkwam, eigenlijk is ket een Korg met de naam van het legendarische orgel.
Het toetsenbord is half gewogen, volgens het waterfall principe; bovendien aanslag gevoelig. Het speelt erg fijn, zonder "plastic" gevoel. Kwaliteit van Korg!!!
De orgels zijn mooi, 3 types :Hammond, Vox en Compact. Erg veel instelmogelijkheden, maar toch overzichtelijk. Ook de attack, Lfo perc dynamiek en valve drive zijn fantastisch.
De piano secties elektrisch en akoestisch zijn natuurgetrouw, ook in te stellen . Van Wurlitzer, Rhodes,of een vleugel enz.
Key Layer omvat er veel mooie natuurgetrouwe synths, maar ook sax, trompet, dwarsfluit. Te omvangrijk om dit uit te leggen. Lijkt te komen uit de Korg Kronos. Korg kwaliteit!!!
Top keyboard, lijkt op het oog weinig in te zitten door de led technologie. Maar werkt erg intuïtief, met korte handleiding die voldoende is.
Standaard is stevig, maar onhandig om mee te nemen. Dit is ook het enigste minpuntje Voor de rest een ongelofelijk apparaat.
