Yamaha designs many mouthpiece models for saxophone, each and every one with the great class and quality that you have come to expect from Yamaha. For alto sax there are five different models available in the Standard series: 3C, 4C, 5C, 6C and 7C. The MP TS 7C model is a great choice for jazz players with its rich, powerful sound with accurate attacks.

The Standard series

Saxophone mouthpieces from the Standard series are fashioned from phenolic material. When it comes to specifications and playing characteristics, this mouthpiece is consistent and offers you good quality and musicality. Because of the shorter facing length, mouthpieces from the Standard series are easier for beginners to play, while still offering high quality.
