Bringing back one of the most popular studio effects of the late seventies and the whole of the eighties, the Catalinbread CBX stompbox delivers some classic Gated Reverb based on the legendary 'accident' that happens when you combine a Solid State Logic SL4000 Talkback Mic channel with an AMS RMX16 digital reverb.

The Catalinbread CBX: Always On?

Set the reverb tail-length via the Gate pot, tweak the gate pre-delay via the Lag pot and hit the perfect blend of wet and dry via the Mix pot. Dial it in just right and your sound is treated to rich musical, and inspiring reverb that works beautifully with other effects and never gets in the way - to the point where you might never bother turning this pedal off. The Catalinbread CBX can run on a standard 9 Volt power supply but, for a touch more headroom, can also take an 18 Volt power supply.
