Having swapped out the tape for a 24-bit high-fidelity digital delay, Catalinbread release an almost exact replica of the iconic Maestro Echoplex EP-3 with this Bello Epoch Deluxe Echo Unit CB03. While the circuitry runs on 22 volts for the most authentic sound possible, the effect pedal can actually be powered simply via a 9V DC power adapter (not included) for easy installation onto your pedalboard. As expected of a premium unit such as this one, the sound is rich, warm and overwhelming in a great a way.

The Belle Epoch Deluxe: More Than An Echo Unit

Countless musicians have been using the Echoplex for decades and not just because of the delay effect but because it can do a lot more as a stand-alone tool for live use. Catalinbread took stage use as a source of inspiration and have made sure you can connect an external expression pedal to the Belle Epoch Deluxe to gain control over the delay time, delay volume and rotary speed. In addition, there's a momentary footswitch built in for echo oscillation that's adjustable via an internal potentiometer, making the Belle Epoch Deluxe even more versatile than its spiritual predecessor.
