The Gretsch G9221 Bobtail Steel enables you to make quite an impression. The body of this chic electro-acoustic resonator guitar is entirely made of steel and features an Ampli-Sonic Spider cone, designed by Gretsch and made of 99% aluminium. This Bobtail produces a remarkably sweet sound that is ideal for blues as well as bluegrass.

The sound of the Bobtail Steel Round-Neck A.E.

The Gretsch Bobtail Steel Round-Neck A.E. is equipped with a round neck, which means you can play it both standing up and sitting down with the guitar placed flat on your lap. The special Gretsch Ampli-Sonic resonator cone in the middle of the steel body is responsible for the typically pervasive sound of the resonator guitar and ensures a high volume and an excellent tone.

An electro-acoustic resonator

The G9221 is equipped with a particularly practical feature: a Fishman Nashville pickup. Resonator guitars have been developed to produce a sound that carries quite far, but if you're playing on a large stage, a little amplification goes a long way. The Nashville pickup from the renowned brand Fishman accurately registers your sound at all times, enabling you to send it to a mixer, an effect pedal or an audio interface.
