The Xone:S2 is an installation/DJ mixer that's perfect for use in pubs and clubs, but also holds its own in a professional mobile DJ show. This 19" mixer takes up four units of your rack, and is available with linear faders or rotary controls for the channels, as its fader panel can easily be detached and replaced by a rotary panel. Featuring four stereo and two mono inputs as well as a USB audio interface, the Xone:S2 offers everything a pub or club needs. Your main mix is transmitted via balanced XLR outputs, and there's even an additional mono XLR output for an extra subwoofer, for instance.
The Xone:S2 features a number of practical tools that will help DJs out during their sets. Each channel has its own 3-band equalizer that can give a safe +6dB boost, and is also capable of killing all frequencies at once. Channels can be assigned to the VCA crossfader, which has an adjustable curve, facilitating either smooth blends or abrupt kills. The built-in Xone filter system, meanwhile, allows you to filter the main signal, or each channel independently. It's even possible to link the filter to your external devices. The mixer's USB audio interface enables you to record the mixes you make with the S2 to your computer, and to play back music from your PC. In short, the Xone:S2 is a versatile mixer, and a real asset for any pub, club or mobile DJ show.
