The Line 6 M5 is 100 stomp boxes in a single, compact pedal. Just like a traditional pedal, you operate one effect at a time. The M5 is as straightforward as the pedals it simulates in that it has no complicated menu structure, just twisting a few simple knobs is enough to steal the show. It is built like a tank and small enough to fit into your pedal board or gig bag. Thanks to the built-in chromatic tuner you will never have to be out of tune again. The Line 6 M5 is an analogue and digital True-Bypass device, so that your timbre comes out unscathed.

A full library of classic and modern effects

The Line 6 M5 houses the exact same high-quality effects as its bigger brothers, the M9 and M15. You choose from 19 different delays, 23 modulation effects, 17 distortions, 12 compressors and EQs, 26 filters and 12 reverbs - nearly every effect pedal that has mattered in the past five decades. The LCD screen changes colour for each effect type. The Tap Tempo button allows you to synchronise effects and the beat easily.

What's under the bonnet?

The Line 6 M5 has a 1/4-inch mono expression pedal input that allows you to connect a standard expression pedal (or the optional Line 6 EX1) to control several parameters of your effects or operate wah effects, of course. Do you like playing in stereo? The M5 features two 1/4-inch inputs and two 1/4-inch outputs. You can also easily incorporate the Line 6 M5 in your MIDI setup and switch between effects with a separate MIDI controller, thanks to the 5-pin MIDI input.
