The GT-100 is the successor to the popular GT-10, and the flagship of Boss' GT series of floor effect processors. It features a powerful, redesigned DSP engine, as well as enhanced, highly responsive COSM amplifier models. All effects have been updated and can be adjusted in real-time. The GT-100's improved user interface is now even more accessible, allowing for an intuitive approach, and its EZ Tone feature allows you to create professional guitar sounds in the blink of an eye. While you're playing or while you're programming sounds, everything you need to know is visible on a large double LCD display.

GT-100: chock-full of authentic amplifiers and legendary effects

As its COSM amplifier models have all been redesigned, the GT-100 both sounds and feels much more authentic than any of its predecessors. From rare, vintage guitar amps to modern, high-gain shredders, the remarkable realism will blow you away. Naturally, the GT-100 is also equipped with the effects that made Boss such a well-known, popular brand over the years. Various distortions, like the legendary DS-1, overdrives, delays, reverbs, chorusses, flangers and more have been included. The sturdy expression pedal can serve as a volume or wah pedal, but you can also use it as a pitch shifter, to blend effects, or to adjust effect parameters in real-time. Of course a phraser/looper is part of the deal too.

Flexible inputs and outputs for diverse applications

On the rear panel of the GT-100 you'll find various inputs and outputs, including MIDI in/out, an effect loop for external effects and an input for an external expression pedal or foot switch. Thanks to the inclusion of a USB port, you're able to connect the effect processor to your computer, allowing for CD-grade recordings. Additionally, an AMP CTL output enables you to switch the channels or effects of your guitar amplifier, and a 1/8-inch aux input lets you plug in an MP3 player or iPod, so you can play along. A headphone connector, finally, makes it possible to play late at night without bothering anyone.

The Boss GT-100 features a fully metal housing with eight sturdy foot switches, so it can take a hit or two on stage. This multi-effect floor processor is also a great asset for your home or studio, however!
