This D7 dynamic microphone head by AKG has the subtle and open sound of a condenser capsule, combined with the powerful resonance of a dynamic microphone. The specifically designed double diaphragms can vibrate freely, which results in a very sparkly, clear sound. Thanks to the use of laminated materials, peaks in the frequency range are dampened. In combination with the super-cardioid pickup pattern, this allows the D7 to generate a lot of output power without suffering from feedback.
