Allmänt

The MK2 version of the Launchkey 25 has had good and long run, so Novation figured it was time to take up tools and design this new and improved MK3 Series model. With better keys, three chord modes and a scale mode to keep out any out-of-tune notes, it's safe to say Novation succeeded in continuing the legacy of this famous series of MIDI keyboards. While the previous version came with a digit display, this brand-new model features a neat alphanumeric display, as well as eight encoders and sixteen pads.

The Novation LaunchKey 25 MK3: Extensive Software Pack

You might've already guessed what those pads are for: triggering clips in Ableton Live! And since a copy of Ableton Live Lite comes included, you can get started right away! In addition, you're getting a whole variety of virtual instruments, synthesizers and effects with your Launchkey 25. Spitfire Audio's Expressive Strings can be used to play beautiful bowed-string notes, XLN Audio offers four virtual keyboards, and AAS provides you with the Session Bundle packed with three amazing-sounding synths. To top it off, you're getting a handful of effects and Novation Sound Collective membership. Why? Well, why not!

Novation kwaliteit, simpelweg plug and play. Met veel scripts voorhanden voor DAW gebruik. Ik gebruik Ableton en Bitwig, beide doen het perfect met deze controller, want dat blijft het: een prima manier om in te spelen en met de pads en knobs de DAW aan te sturen. Past nog in een rugtas. De Launchkey mini ook maar met een beetje redelijke handen is dat te veel pielen en voelt het wat te plastic aan. Alle waar naar het geld, betaal wat meer en je hebt deze MK3 die erg prettig aanvoelt met grote fijne toetsen!

Stevig keyboard, de toetsen voelen prettig aan. Gekocht als upgrade om mijn launchkey mini te vervangen en ben er heel erg blij mee. Gewoon plug en play. Top product.

Onlangs Novation Launchkey 25 gekocht om te gebruiken in combinatie met Novation Circuit en Circuit mono station. Het is een degelijk keyboard met grote toetsen die solide aanvoelen. Ook de pads en de draaiknoppen voelen solide aan. De kracht van het keyboard is dat je de pads en de draaiknoppen kan configureren hoe midi cc signalen doorgeven moeten worden naar aangesloten apparatuur. Een display op het keyboard geeft aan welk midi signaal en waarde wordt doorgegeven. Daarnaast biedt het keyboard functies voor arpeggiator en chords, allemaal intuitief in te stellen. Een voordeel vind ik dat het keyboard met een powerbank van stroom voorzien kan worden zodat in combinatie met de Novation Circuit geen stopcontact nodig is en jammen op allerlei plekken mogelijk is.
