For producers who want to be in the spotlight, Arturia offer the MiniLab MK2 USB/MIDI keyboard. This affordable, compact mini keyboard is easy to take with you wherever you go, and is USB powered. With the ability to play the keyboard, assign drum samples with the pads, use plugins, or experiment with the sixteen rotary knobs, you'll have virtually endless possibilities at your fingertips. Add the possibility to play with the touch strip pitch bend and modulation and the sustain input, and you've got yourself a complete studio on the go!

Features of the Arturia MiniLab MK2

The MK2 is the second version of Arturia's original MiniLab. The quality of the components has been improved, as well as the housing, the key bed, and the controls. It also comes with a collection of useful software including Analog Lab, a library of sounds based on Arturia softsynths that offer a wide range of analogue synths, workstations, organs, string machines, pianos, and other vintage sounds.

Other highlights

A grand piano may not be the first sound you think of when you think of a compact controller keyboard like this one, but it is included! It's not just any grand either—it's the top-notch Uvi Grand Piano Model D (a virtual Steinway). The MK2 also comes with Ableton Live Lite, a DAW that is highly popular in the EDM scene due to its live performance features. Voelt goed aan, software is duidelijk uitgelegd en makkelijk met elkaar te linken.

I love the keyboard. Works very good with all Arturia vsts. The piano works on all VSTs, but the knobs need to be mapped to most of the other programs I use. Still it is not a long process and worth the time.
I'm happy with the product because for this price it saves me an insane amount of time, specially for recording automations.

I'm happy with my purchase. It's pretty lightweight and is really easy to get up and running. The only issue I had was that the white keys are a different white than the knobs, but that's just me being picky!
