Allmänt
The STB45L-CH is Meinl's smallest cowbell with a highly polished chrome finish. With a relatively low pitch and excellent sustain, this instrument has a wide range of uses, but is especially suitable for lighter styles of music. All cowbells from Meinl are tuned very precisely. The top German manufacturer made five cowbells with a chrome finish. When you complete the series, it is possible to play a (partially) diatonic scale.
Meinl Percussion Cowbells
Each cowbell from Meinl starts out in the factory as a flat steel plate. Any hammered dents in the cowbell, which provide extra damping, are already hammered into the plate here using a special machine. Two equal triangles are cut out, which are then bent into the right shape with a press. The two halves are then welded together very precisely using a special welding technique. The welding seam is made very flat so that there are no sharp edges. If the cowbell has a fastening eye, this is also immediately welded on. After this process, the cowbell is ready for its finish. This can include highly polished chrome, matte black powder coating or hand-brushed steel. After this, the cowbell is ready for use.
