Allmänt
HK Audio's Elements Retrofit Kit is made specifically for the E435 and E835 mid/treble speakers and the EA600 amplifier that aren't yet fitted with an Elements Locking Wedge. The Locking Wedge is featured on the current version of the E435, E835 and EA600 and facilitates added column stability as well as a better alignment. It is a pleasant addition for larger setups.
Old and new
There's no need to panic if you don't want to upgrade all your speaker components with the Retrofit Kit, as old and new sections do fit together - you'll just miss the wedged connection of the Retrofit Kit. We do suggest you put the older speaker elements on top of the newer ones for better column stability thanks to the wedged connection.
Mounting
You can simply remove the old top and bottom panels of the speaker element using only a hex key. Then, you attach the new bottom and top panel from the Retrofit Kit to your speaker element to complete the upgrade.
