The SDJ-4000 DJ controller by Gemini was released exactly a year after its predecessor, the SDJ-2000. It's a robust all-in-one standalone controller that's chock-full of features such as a 7-inch colour display that shows all the information you need to know pertaining to waveforms, cues, loops, and everything else you need. You can also analyse your songs to the second, cue effects or adjust or edit your library on the fly thanks to the presence of two USB ports. If you want to analyse songs easily and add cues or other important info, you can take advantage of Gemini’s own VCase software.

The industrial look of the Gemini SDJ-4000 sets it apart from the current norm for DJ controllers. As far as connections are concerned, it offers the same options and expansion possibilities as virtually all other controllers on the market today. However, the SDJ-4000 also offers two Ethernet inputs so you can link and sync a media player. It has a lot of features to offer, including 6-inch velocity-sensitive, backlit platters for precision, two mic inputs with a separate EQ, a mini InnoFader cross fader with adjustable curve, and 16 performance pads!
