If you're a solo performer or entertainer, you might miss the support of a backing band. Luckily, the Roland BK-7M Backing Module is here to help you out. It's no larger than the average book, but provides you with extensive musical accompaniment. The Backing Module offers an impressive choice of 400 music styles, 1,000 sounds and 57 drum kits that can be accessed with a few simple commands. A USB port enables you to expand your backing options and to record your performance.

MIDI functionality and expansion options

The BK-7M is more than just a backing module. Thanks to its MIDI functionality you can also use it as a sound engine for MIDI instruments like keyboards, organs, accordions or guitars. The module has a USB port that allows you to play back audio files in MP3 or WAV format, so you can basically use it as a karaoke set and sing or play along with existing songs or your own productions. A Center Cancel function even allows you to minimise the lead vocals of existing tracks. The Roland BK-7M has a 128-voice polyphony and supports GS, GM2 and XG-lite formats.

Video compatibility

The BK-7M is a remarkably comprehensive backing module - it even has a video module that allows you to display lyrics, sheet music and other information on a separate screen for your audience or fellow musicians. Other practical features include various effects, EQ settings, one-touch memories and style makeup tools, and the Roland backing module can easily be operated with a foot switch - ideal if you have your hands full playing your instrument.

Zeer goede kwaliteit.

Prima voor entertainers die in de style's ervan werken of spelen.

Minpunt: bij 'World' , er zitten geen Griekse, Chinese en andere oosterse style's, en zijn ook niet te down lauden, en verder ook niet uit te breiden.

Dus ik moet dan maar mijn Yamaha psr-a2000 steeds meenemen.
