Allmänt

As a vocalist or musician you want as much mobility on stage and interaction with the audience as you can get! But if you walk away from your floor monitor, you hear a different sound and volume, and you won´t be able to gauge your performance. This is why AKG have developed the IVM 4500 professional wireless in-ear monitor system. This system consists of a transmitter, receiver and a set of in-ear plugs. These provide you with the same monitor sound with a constant volume, wherever you are on stage. As it allows you to clearly hear your own performance, the volume can be lowered and your ears won't be taxed as heavily.

SST 4500: full-fledged stereo transmitter

The SST 4500 is a stereo transmitter that provides an extremely precise and crystal-clear sound. It has 50 mW of RF power, so that you can get to work on most stages. The built-in DBX signal processor provides you with a low-cut filter, equalizer, space simulation and compressor presets. The RF power can be manually adjusted from 10, 20 to 50 mW. This way, you can decrease the range on smaller stages, allowing for a more powerful and dynamic signal. The transmitter has a clearly backlit LCD screen with all the important information on it. Furthermore, the transmitter has various connectors, like two combined XLR/jack audio inputs, a stereo line output and a headphone connector.

SPR 4500: lightweight bodypack receiver

The audio signal of the transmitter is received by two antennas of the SPR 4500 receiver. Thanks to the Diversity technology, the antenna with the best reception is automatically used, so that you are assured of a powerful, clear and interference-free signal. The RF power can be adjusted manually. The accessory IP 2 ear plugs can be connected to the 3.5mm stereo jack. The large volume knob on top allows you to effortlessly adjust the volume, without having to look at it. The SPR4500 operates up to ten hours on two AA batteries or a, separately available, BP 4000 battery pack.
