The AD-S8T set by QSC was specifically designed for professional use and is suitable for use as a live PA or for background music in an establishment. The set consists of four AD-S8T speakers, two GXD8 amplifiers and one AD-S112SW subwoofer. The AD-S8T is a first-rate speaker with a maximum SPL of 119 dB. The reliable QSC GXD8 power amplifier is capable of an impressive 4500-watt Class-D output capacity. This, in combination with an ultra-flexible DTP, makes the GXD8 an essential part of your setup. Wat een degelijke versterker!
Zeer licht in gewicht en dan toch zat vermogen, heel blij mee en de DSP werkt ook zeer fijn en duidelijk.
Scheelt enorm veel sjouw werk.
Dankzij de goede limiters ook heerlijk te gebruiken als floor monitorversterker.

for the price, usually around £650, you get 1200 watts per channel into 4 ohms. The build quality seems very good, the performance is excellent, and they'll happily drive a single E18SW (800W rms) per channel to high output levels. I have now used these for a number of events in the last couple of years and they have performed flawlessly. The built in DSP is very capable, and useful if you have more than one type of speaker in use. Being switch-mode, they're light, which is nice when you have seven of them in a flightcase. They seem to be built to a slightly better standard than the GXD4 - one of which I've had fail.



The only negative thing I can think of is that they lack air filters behind the grilles so after a summer of events they become quite dusty inside. Routine maintenance should include taking the lids off and cleaning them every so often.
