Allmänt
Within the Vintage Modified series, Squier offers instruments that offer a recognisable look and sound, but each model has a distinctive twist. This Squier Vintage Modified Precision Bass PJ is one of those special instruments. PJ refers to Precision and Jazz; Fender's most popular bass models, each of which has its own characteristic pickup. This guitar has a Lake Placid Blue finish, a fresh, blue lacquer that is also used on numerous other Fenders and Squiers.
Vintage Modified Precision Bass PJ
The body of this PJ-bass is made of lightweight agathis, its maple neck has a 20-fret laurel fretboard, and its pickguard has a 3-layer black finish. The bass guitar has a Jazz-Bass single-coil in bridge position as well as a Precision Bass split single-coil in mid position, giving you the warm Jazz Bass growl as well as the punch and depth of a split single-coil, such as you'll find on a conventional P-Bass.
The Squier brand
The most famous Fender guitars are the Precision and Jazz bass guitars and the Stratocaster and Telecaster electric guitars. Many manufacturers have imitated these, in different price ranges. In order to be able to provide a reliable and attractive alternative for beginners, Fender started their subsidiary Squier in 1982. Squier guitars and bass guitars are built according to specifications made by, and under supervision of Fender.
