The Sire Marcus Miller V7 SR5 Natural Satin brings back a much-loved flagship model in a revamped reissue version. Following a temporary halt to production due to the limited availability of swamp ash, this 5-string bass guitar has been reintroduced for bassists who appreciate the combination of classic looks and modern performance. The solid swamp ash body delivers a crisp attack, plenty of definition and excellent resonance. Thanks to the comfortable Marcus Miller Jazz body shape and the beautiful Natural Satin finish, this bass looks just as impressive as it sounds.

Versatile electronics

The tone is provided by a set of Marcus Miller Super-J Revolution single-coil pickups with authentic ’60s pickup spacing and USA plain enamel bobbin wire. These pickups produce a clear, detailed sound with plenty of dynamics. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp offers extensive tone control with volume/tone, blend, treble, bass and middle/frequency controls. What’s more, you can easily switch between active and passive modes, allowing the bass to adapt effortlessly to a wide range of musical styles and playing techniques.

Playing comfort and high-quality hardware

The neck is crafted from hard maple and features a comfortable C-profile. The edgeless hard maple fingerboard, with rounded edges, a 9.5-inch radius and twenty medium frets, ensures a smooth playing experience across the full 34-inch scale length. A 46 mm bone nut is specifically tailored to this 5-string model. Furthermore, the Marcus Heavy Mass II bridge, premium open-gear tuning machines and chrome hardware ensure stable tuning, precise intonation and a reliable foundation for intensive use on stage and in the studio.
